Description

VMO HTML to PDF Converter 2.0 is a revolutionary WordPress plugin that creates fully interactive PDF documents from any HTML content. Unlike traditional PDF converters, VMO preserves the complete functionality of your web pages — including clickable buttons, working navigation links, functional contact forms that actually send emails, parallax effects, and all interactive elements.

Imagine sending a PDF brochure where recipients can click buttons, fill out contact forms and submit them directly from the PDF, navigate through sections, and experience visual effects — all without opening a browser. This is the future of PDF documents, and it's available now.

🚀 What Makes Version 2.0 Revolutionary

Your PDFs are no longer static documents. They're fully functional mini-applications that retain all the interactivity of your website. Forms submit, buttons click, links navigate, and effects animate — all within the PDF.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about VMO HTML to PDF Converter.

How do interactive forms work inside the PDF?
VMO uses AcroForms technology to embed fully functional form fields in your PDF. When a user fills out a form and clicks submit, the data is sent via email to your specified recipient address. The form fields support text inputs, textareas, dropdowns, checkboxes, and radio buttons. This works in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, and most modern PDF readers.
Will buttons and navigation actually work in the PDF?
Yes! All clickable elements are converted to PDF link annotations. Internal navigation links scroll to the correct section, external links open in a browser, and button actions are preserved. This makes your PDFs feel like interactive documents rather than static pages.
What about parallax and visual effects?
While true parallax scrolling isn't possible in static PDFs, VMO preserves the visual appearance of parallax sections with layered backgrounds. CSS animations and transitions are captured at their final state, and we include fallback styling that maintains the visual impact of your design.
How does full-page width work?
Version 2.0 removes default margins and allows your content to span the entire page width. You can configure edge-to-edge printing or set custom margins. This is perfect for brochures, portfolios, and marketing materials that need maximum visual impact.
Is landscape mode truly landscape?
Absolutely. When you select landscape orientation, the PDF is generated with proper landscape dimensions (e.g., 11" x 8.5" for Letter size). The content is rotated and scaled appropriately, so it displays correctly in all PDF readers without any rotation issues.
Will my content get cut in half across pages?
No! VMO uses intelligent page break detection to ensure content is never split awkwardly across pages. The plugin automatically identifies logical break points — keeping paragraphs, images, cards, tables, and sections together on the same page. You can also manually control page breaks using CSS classes or the page-break-before and page-break-after properties.
What are the content alignment options?
VMO offers four alignment modes: Left (content aligned to the left with right margin), Right (content aligned to the right with left margin), Center (content centered with equal margins), and Full Page / Cover (content fills the entire page edge-to-edge, like a magazine cover or book jacket). Cover mode is perfect for title pages, chapter dividers, and full-bleed images.
Which PDF readers support interactive forms?
Interactive forms work in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), Adobe Acrobat Pro, Foxit Reader, PDF-XChange, and most desktop PDF applications. Browser-based viewers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) have partial support. For best results, we recommend Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free and available on all platforms.
Can forms send to multiple email addresses?
Yes! You can configure multiple recipients, CC, and BCC addresses for form submissions. You can also set up conditional routing based on form field values — for example, sending sales inquiries to one email and support requests to another.
Does this plugin require any external API?
No, VMO HTML to PDF Converter runs entirely on your server. No data is sent to external services, making it fully GDPR compliant and ensuring your content stays private. Form submissions are processed through your server's email system.
What are the server requirements?
The plugin requires PHP 7.4 or higher (8.0+ recommended), WordPress 6.0 or higher, and at least 256MB of PHP memory limit for processing complex pages. A working mail server (or SMTP plugin) is required for form submission functionality.
Can I track form submissions?
Yes! VMO includes a submission tracking dashboard where you can view all form submissions from your PDFs. You'll see the form data, timestamp, and PDF source. You can also integrate with popular CRM and email marketing platforms.
Does it work with Contact Form 7 / WPForms / Gravity Forms?
Yes, VMO is compatible with major form plugins. When converting a page, it detects these forms and converts them to interactive PDF forms with the same field structure. The submission handling respects your original form settings.
